Music in the Mountains Wrap Up

Music in the Mountains is about to wrap up the 24th festival season with performances in the festival tent at Durango Mountain Resort. There will be a "Masterworks" festival orchestra concert on Saturday, July 31, where you will be treated to but two performances by David Castro-Balbi and Katherine Audas with the Festival Orchestra under the direction of Guillermo Figueroa.  The Sunday, August 1, production will be, "A Night at the Opera" orchestra concert. Tickets can be purchased by calling (970) 385-6820.
 


Also, new this summer, guests can enjoy the majestic mountain views while listening to the sounds of Music in the Mountains with Durango Mountain Resort's "Grass Pass." On concert nights, come experience Music in the Mountains from the grassy area just outside the festival tent for only $5 per person (children 15 and under are free). Bring your own food and drinks, or stop by the Village Market and Deli to purchase a custom picnic basket and a bottle of wine from Kendall Mountain Liquors.
