Looking for the perfect vacation this Christmas season?  Durango should be at the top of your list!  Durango, Colorado has so much to offer this Christmas season.  Purgatory Mountain, or now, Durango Mountain Resort's opening day will be the day after Thanksgiving for a "soft" opening, and hoping to be fully open on December 20th.  They have also made some changes to the Mountain and resort, with new terrain opening, as well as new services and deals.  Not a skier? Durango has plenty of other fun things to do! The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad will be offering a Winter Cascade train, along with The Polar Express Train Ride.  Both are great but different rides to see the beauty of Durango by train, the Cascade train you can spend the day venturing through Durango and the Polar Express, you will get to experience Durango after dark.

Other than the usual Durango attractions, there are some fun Holiday events going on in December! There are holiday craft shows, Christmas shows and plays, and of course HOLiDAZZLE will be going on all throughout Downtown Durango!
