The sixth annual “Holidazzle,” is designed to boost retail traffic and subsequently sales revenues in and around Downtown Durango, officially kicks off Nov. 26– the traditional start of the holiday shopping season. This year the theme is holiday music performed exclusively by local artists. There will be a CD release party on November 27 at the Henry Strater Theatre and CD's will be sold at various Downtown Durango businesses for $15. This year there are Gift certificates and merchandise will also be given away as part of the comprehensive promotional program. More than 75 businesses in the Central Business District are offering gift drawings, with sign-ups being taken throughout the promotional period that begins Nov. 15.
